Computer Basics

Hey all,

I am new to the computer world. I recently took a computer programming class at my college and I enjoyed. I did pretty well in the class, in which we learned how to program in C. I am simply looking for some guidance or perhaps a suggested method of operation for ascertaining as much knowledge on computers and electronics as humanly possible. I want to have an insatiable thirst for this arcane realm of technical wisdom. Thank you all for replying in advance.

I will also recommend a course in assembly language/programming and you will really get the feel of how a cpu works. x86 (intel) will be a bit different than 680x0 (older apple but some schools still have these old programmers that you'll likely be working on)
