What would be the best i7 for me if I'm not planning on overclocking. My price range is between 200-260. Any help will be much appreciated. Or maybe I should go with one of the AMD FX's if I'm not going to overclock. I've been out of the game for awhile so I'm not familiar with the new parts.

Yes, the k versions have unlocked multipliers, so can be OCed. Otherwise, At stock speeds, (without OC), both 3770k & 3770 perform same.

I've also been hearing bad things about the stock fan but if you use another fan it'll void the warranty. Do you think that since I'm not overclocking the stock fan would be sufficient. Again thank you guys for the help. It seems like the 3770 is the way to go.

Stock fan will do fine with the non-k versions.

I feel like have to ask just because you guys have been suggesting such good products. What would be the ram that should go with this build. I know ram is cheap but is 16 gb a little overkill? Which brand of ram would go good with this build? Haha, after this. I think you guys deserve somekind of Tom's Hardware reward :p.
