I want to buy i new graphic card to game at 1360x768. I want to max out all games (Especially Max Payne 3 and upcoming Assassin's creed 3). I just killed my sapphire radeon 6770. It could max out everything except Batman Arkham City at DX11 (Which i dont mind. It worked great at DX9.) Here are my specs-

Intel core 2 duo e7500@2.93 ghz
2 gb ddr2 ram
res- 1360x768
corsair cx 500 w psu

I live in India . Prices are a bit high.

Radeon 6770 - Rs. 6650 ($119)

Radeon 7750 - rs.6800 ($122)

Radeon 6790 - rs.7800 ($140)

GTX 550ti - rs.7500 ($135)

Radeon 6750 - rs. 6200 ($111)

gts 450 - rs. 6000 ($108)

what do you think. I dont wanna buy an overkill. Should i again buy a 6770 or pay a little extra for 7750.

What about others as well.

U should buy a hd 6850 or 6870 but i personally don't think hd 6670/7750 could run AC lll maxed out. Its not even released yet its going to take more than hd 6770 to play AC lll at maxed out. hd 7750 isn't even 256 bit.

U should atleast think of hd 6850/6870

I don't agree with UAhmed.

HD 6770 should be more than enough, considering AC series games aren't demanding. Remember AC: revelations which showed up just a year ago: almost any mid class graphics card could max it out at 1920x1080. And you're running twice lesser resolution too.

If you don't mind not being able to play batman maxed, HD 6770 is the way to go. Don't go for HD 7750, it's less powerful.

Btw, how did you kill your graphics card?

Yeah i think 6770 will be fine.
But will 7750 be an advantage in long run as it consumes less power.
6850 is out of budget.

I killed my graphic card because i tried to oil its fan to keep it quiet.
It worked for five months but after that, fan stopped and it got overheated
