Hello,
I have a AMD Radeon 7870 and am trying to set up three monitors on it. The hdmi and dvi ports work fine but when i connect the third moniter through a dvi cable into a mini displayport adapter it is detected but displays nothing. CCC doesn't recognize the monitor's model or capabilities and device manager lists it as a non p2p monitor even though it is identical to the other two. I am using 3 ASUS VS248 monitors and an active mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter as shown

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

I'm having the exact same problem with the same adapter on my Gigabyte 7970!

I'm wondering if the issue is with the Mini Displayports on the on the 7XXX cards. They are at version 1.2, where if you look at the Wicked Wired instructions, they're rated for version 1.1a

But who do you contact at Wicked Wired? Their website is locked I think.

I had the same problem. I brought a active DVI mini display port, which be OK but I could not get it to work until I found out that the mini display port connector has to be the right way up. Once I turned it over everything was perfect. Hope this helps

The issue is most likely your adapter. Try one of the "Officially" supported ones that AMD lists. I noticed that right after the official ones came out, my active adapter that plugged into USB for power stopped working. Had to roll back to an older driver to continue to use it up until I finally replaced it with one of these. Before replacing it started having simliar symptoms as yours. CCC would recognize the monitor but I couldnt enable it most of the time, or when it did it wouldnt set the correct resolution / color display.
