pc2400 256 RAM 0118 (on front of chip) 0116 (on back) 2-2 mT 46V16M8 TG -75A L842 Is this any good for o/cing?
Try to overclock it and find out. I'm assuming you pulled it out of an OEM machine? ----------------------- Quarter pounder inside
PC2400 ram IS good for overclocking! thats 150mhz base bus speed versus 133 for standard PC2100 ram. and judging by the 2-2 it should be capable of doing 150Mhz @ Cas2. probably even higher. i have PC150 SDRAM rated at 3,3,2. i can do full cas 2 all the way up to 160Mhz. overclock, then run something like seti@home to stress test it. "i love the smell of Overclocking in the morning!" Says my Hamster.
I tsounds like third party Micron chip PC2400, which is actually PC2100 that is garunteed to overclock. Video killed my Radio Card!
Don't know but it sounds like PC2400 using 7.5ns DRAMs, "-75A". I've never seen PC2400 but I would think it should be using 6.5ns DRAMs.
