Now most people seem to recommend a 750w PSU. But the fact is eXtreme PSU Calc recommends 528w and I own a 600w PSU. This 600w PSU will be enough right?

My Build:

-i5-3570k

-2 x HD 6950

-1 7200 HDD

-1 BR/DVD

-2 x 4GB DDR3 RAM

I was hoping the PSU would have more power on the +12V rails, yours has 504W, which isnt bad, just not amazing, also in a review I read the PSU shut down twice when the reviewer put a load on the PSU of just over 600W so I think you'd really be pushing the PSU to its limit.
Those PSU calculators are often inaccurate, In my opinion I think your PSU will run CF HD6950's, it would just be too close to the PSU's limits for my comfort.

600w might be good enough but you would have like zero headroom, and it all depends on which 600w PSU as some dont consistently meet their power targets and some are low amps on the 12v. Give the make and model PSU that you have and we can go from there.

I have another question:

A GTX 560 Ti needs a 500w PSU but only draws up to 170w...

An HD 6950 needs a 500w PSU but only draws what?

Ok thanks everyone! It looks like it would normally draw less power than a 560 Ti, but more if pushed to the absolute limit (Which it never will in normal use). I know I am cutting it close, but that's fine for me since I believe in my PSU :)
