Makin a backup dvd of mac os installation disks

hello,

I've mac 10.6.3 installation dvds just want to know that is there any windows base burning software by using which I could make backup/clone copy of those dvds?

NOte: I know, how to make using mac but want to know how to within windows please tell me the name of that software (windows xp based).

You can make a copy with Nero or Roxio. Most Windows based CD/DVD utilities have a copy DVD/CD function built right into them. Also, you will likely need dual layer DVD media to accomodate the size of the installation DVD.

I've tried NERO its not read the dvd(data)

Try ImageBurn (ImgBurn), its free and I've been using it for a couple of years without any issues.

nope! its not working "hairystuff".it does not read mac installation dvd.

Odd. My copy of Nero had no issue, whatsoever, reading and copying a OS X DVD. Sorry it didn't work for you.

I've download macdrive version 8 to create image of mac os installation dvdz then burne it using ultra iso. macdrive can read data of mac type.solved
