Xbox 360 controller, shuts off for a bit when fighting

Hi,

I have a wired pc xbox 360 controller. When I play ssf4 it works great, but when I play games like dmc and dishonored the controller runs fine, until theres an intense fight the xbox icon on the controller flashes as if its restarting. Any fights the xbox 360 controller restarts, like the xbox icon flashes all around and then its back to normal again. It keeps doing this whenever theres a fight. Anyone has any ideas why?

I doubt it, doesn't even have to be intense just a fight and it starts goin haywire. Maybe it can't handle the actions fast enough so it has to reset? I feel like something interferes with it. I have no clue.....
