Just got myself a new motherboard, CPU, and RAM, but when I installed everything along with my old parts, a video card, hard drive, optical drive, and power supply, my computer doesn't want to boot.

When ever I start my computer it starts up fine until the loading windows screen, then I see a split second blue screen, goes by to fast to read what it says. Then it changes to the windows error recovery screen and gives me the options of Launch Startup Repair and Start Windows Normally. When I click repair it runs the repairer which either doesn't work or says it fixed the problem and reboots. When I tell it to start normally it just reboots over and over again.

Pressing F8 over and over at boot does give me the option of safe mode but when I pick it it just reboots.

Ok here's a little update, I just installed all my old parts onto my old CPU, motherboard, and RAM and it boots up fine.

Also if it helps here are the parts I'm working with.

New:
MSI Z77A-G43
Intel i5 3570k

Used:
DDR3 2000MHz 1GB (part of a 2GB kit a co-worker gave me, he's still looking for it's twin)

Parts from old build:
GeForce 9800GT
Blue ray optical drive
640GB Hard Drive
300 watt power supply (I know it's small, but I will be getting a new one Friday)

Also I recorded what the split second blue screen said. It says that a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. The error code he gave me is:

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF880009A97E8, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)

I'm not 100% on the last two, part of it got cut off during the recording.

Ok I just bought two sticks of DDR3 4GB 1333MHz and a Antec 500W power supply and it's still not booting. What the hell did I do wrong?

Can you boot and get into the bios without the hard drive and video card installed?

So, if you take the MB and add the processor and new memory (in the correct dimm slots) connected to the new power supply, can you enter BIOS?

I haven't tried removing the hard drive or video card but I can bios just find when they are installed.

I'm about to leave for work so I can't test that till tonight.

Edit: I was wondering, do y'all think it could be something wrong with my hard drive. Since as I think about it all the error messages that actually said what is wrong mentioned a corrupted drive. Can a hard drive be corrupted to work with a old CPU and motherboard but not a new one.
