I am deciding on a new graphics card between the 460 and 560 gtx or possibly wait for 600. They are both good cards the only difference is 192bit vs 256bit how big of a difference will that really make?

Solution
You get greater screen resolutions with more detail with 256 bit cards. Avoid 192 bit if you have other alternatives. GTX 460 256 bit are good cards if you can find them.

not that much when it comes to gaming. the most part is that the 560 is a gen newer then the 460. just like the 670 uses less power and is faster then the 500 line. i would wait for the 660 ti it going to use less power and be faster then the 500 line of cards.

Expect the 660 in about 4-6 months. Nvidia stopped manufacturing of it's 5xx series cards about a month or two ago. Once the leftover supplies dry up they'll release the 660. Not until then. Built my rig fresh on the 4th with a GTS 250 expecting the 660 this month, just sold the 250 back and went with the 560 ti until the 660.

Buy what you need now. If you start waiting for new parts you'll never upgrade you're machine.

Get the 5xx. It's a newer gen and will be supported longer. Also the larger bus will help at higher resolutions.
