A friend suggested this build and i was just wanting the opinions of other people before i buy.

I mainly want this for gaming and want as much fps at high quality as possible.

A better CPU, a better GPU, the 7850 can overclock better, perform better at stock, and run cooler and with less power. The 7850 can reach GTX 580 performances on a quick tweak in AMD drivers.

Well going simple stock/no OC build under $900 one could possibly land a GTX 670 based gaming rig ^^
