Full RAM not reading?

Hi...just put together a barebones kit I purchased and the memory doesn't appear to be showing up the full 8 GB it's supposed to be. The board is a GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P and the memory is ADATA Premier Series AD3U1333C4G9-SH - 4GB, PC3-10666, DDR3, 2 sticks of this. I installed Win XP Pro and the hardware profile says it has 2.75 GB of RAM. The onboard vid is using 700 mb. Thoughts?
