I think I posted this in the wrong sub forum before.

I built my dream rig a few months ago and am now in the process of wanting to overclock it. I built it myself and since watercooling wasn't very big when I learned I had no experience doing it so I went with the old school traditional air cooling. My goal is to finish putting this rig together so I can just enjoy playing with it.

AMD 8150
Patriot G2 Series Division 2 Edition 8 gig sticks PC3 12800 x4
RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ AMD 990FX
Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower
MSI R6850 Cyclone PE Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit x2

I need suggestions/advice on a good aftermarket heatsink and also a good fan controller for the case since the case will hold 5 120mm fans and 2 140mm fans. Also if anyone has any good suggestions on where to find a good fan that is less than 18mm thick that would be awesome. Any suggestions on how to make this rig more awesome (its at least awesome in my eyes) would be very much appreciated.

P.S. The video cards are not ran in CrossfireX because I have it set up in triple monitor display and couldn't/didn't think it would allow me to do that with it enabled. Also looking for suggestions for fan controllers. I'm no expert and honestly got out of computers for several years because of lack of accessibility to do fun things with them. All advice would be greatly appreciated!

The AMD video cards have eyefinity and you can connect up to 5 monitors and do it with crossfire enabled for even better performance.

There are too many to choose from so I linked the whole page.

These fans are 12mm thick and are a good brand name.

First off, RUN TOSE BITCHES IN CROSSFIRE!!!

Next...

If your wanting to do water cooling http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2543342&CatId=499 there you go. Its affordiable, and yet still a great brand name.

I honestly, unless your extream OC'ing and in your case you have no need to, do not recommened liquid cooling. This is what I would do if I was you, http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6046364&CatId=493

Now with that in mind fans and fan controlers...

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7020076&CatId=501

I have a 80mm version of the 120mm I linked you, they are quite and it can actually hover on the ground when I take it out of the case.

But just let it be known, I think your going over the top with the cooling thing.

Depending on which way you want to go there are a couple of water coolers and a couple of air coolers for you to look at.

Thanks for the all the suggestions. Just one last follow up question involving the liquid cooling systems; Whats the learning curve like on installing maintaining those prepackaged systems?

There isn't anything that you have to do because they are a sealed system and your not supposed to open them up. So it's basicly just like putting a fan heatsink on the cpu , just install it and monitor the temps. If you get the one with one fan then you have to watch the temps to make sure it's cooling the cpy enough and you can add a second fan for a push/pull system and up the cooling effect of the radiator.

I was looking at the corsair water coolers because they have a brand name I trust and TBH this isn't something I'd like to have a problem with. Is there any difference between H80 or the H100? Also is my case and PS sufficient for those options? Also I would probably run it at 85-90% to keep it quiet since my computer is like 5 feet from where I sleep.

Yea, and I went with a Noctua fan because on the day I went to order the parts thats what I was feeling. I also put in a fan controller so I could crank them down when leaving the computer running at night. I haven't got to install the NH-C14 yet but hopefully tomorrow or Friday. I couldn't resist after reading all the good things about it.
