HD 6950 MIA?

According to Toms article on "The best GPU of May 2012" [1] the HD 6950 are Missing in action and so is therefore not the best GPU you can get for £170 (the GeForce GTX 560 Ti calls trumps ).

As far as i can see you can still get the 6950 just wondering if anyone knows something i'm missing.

I believe they stopped making the 6950.The 7850 is the better card these days at that price point.It offers performance close to the GTX570 while consuming much less power than the 6950.

Even with 6950's are available, at the same price range as the 7850, there is no reason to buy the 6950 anymore unless you already have one & aiming for crossfire.
