Windows did not detect any networking hardware

Hello, I recently re-installed Windows 7 and I can no longer connect to the internet because I am unable to find the network, after checking my device manager I need to update drivers for ethernet controller among others and am unsure of how to do this with no connection and if it is even my problem!

what kind of motherboard or system do you have?

Its an Asus P8P67 PRO.

have you checked the driver CD?

you can also download the driver from the ASUS website on to a Flash drive at a friends place or the library. Its about a 120MB file
