I Recently purchased a 55" LG 3D TV and read Dirt 3 supports Native 3D on AMD devices that feature HD3D. My Gfx (HD6870) does support HD3D. But i dont see any option in the Graphics options to enable it. Does it need a patch or something ?Thanks.

It used to be. It's not about 3D, or the display itself, but HDMI cannot send enough info to support 60hz in 3D at 1080p. However, I believe the newer drivers from AMD were supposed to allow you to get 30hz at 1080p using HDMI.

The TV does have HDMI 1.4 , Its connected via a A/V Recieved that is 1.4 3D enabled too.Yet no option. The AMD site says for Dirt 3 DDD or Tridef is not required as it has Native 3D support.

Im not sure if its a of what... Assumed if its a 3D TV and 1.4 was the highlight of HDMI 1.4 it should work. Power DVD 12 auto detects my TV as a 1.4 Enabled 3D tv, cant remember if it had the "a" , Im at work so lets assume it is 1.4a any idea where I'd see the 3D option in the game?

bystander have you ever run Dirt 3 in native 3D on a previous setup(Since your current setup has a 680) ?

Just a post back to give the outcome over the weekend, Dirt 3 DOES require the 1.2 patch for one to see the Stereoscopic Render option in the graphics menu.(Will be greyed out if it doesnt detect a compatible display) I however was able to enable it , but Its a hit on performance and drops my TV to 24hz and my audio goes away. I got stereo option by default in Dirt Showdown.

That must mean that your TV does have HDMI 1.4a. You can play it at 720p and get 60hz.
