Is this a nice config for a Gaming PC?

Well, so i'm here (my first post :)) to ask you about what you think about that config:

CPU: i5-3570K

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro4-M

CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer i30 CPU Cooler

RAM: Corsair Vengeance PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 8GB 2x4GB CL9

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA3

Case: Zalman Z11 Plus

PSU: Tacens Radix V 750W

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5

Monitor: Acer S220HQLBD 21.5" LED

And, should I wait to get a 660 Ti? What do you think about it?

  1. I would get the 670 or 660ti. Just a personal preference for me. Nvidia has more features like PhysX, TXAA, adaptive Vsync, & 3d vision. But if you do want AMD there is an amazing sale on a 7970 that comes with:
DiRT Showdown, Deus Ex, Nexiuz, Total War: Shogun 2, Battlefield 3, and Sonic Generations. All for $369. :o Hella deal!

  3. upgrade the psu to a : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139021
and the gpu is a good gpu i would keep it unless you wnt the deal of swolern
  4. OK! I will choose another psu! Thanks!
  5. What do you think about this PSU?

    Nox Hummer M 750w Modular
  6. I would get teh GTX 670 FTW, its 410 with MIR. It can get as fast as the 680 and comes with the 680 cooling system (only a bit better) which allows for much better cooling.

  7. IMPORTANT TO SAVE MONEY
I got the I5 3570k, online its like 240 or what ever, at micro-center its only 190 and when combed with a mb you get 50 off the mb

    +1
  10. Also the Zalman Z11 Plus looks kinda expensive for a case, i would recommend the Coolmaster Haf 912. Its only ^0 and it give you a lot of space and is very sturdy. It is kinda big for a mid tower as it is very wide but i like it. It also is very rugged as the review that made me want to buy it is someones's gf went ape *** on their comp with a base ball bat and hit it 5-6 times, and he said the case was strong enough that none of his parts got damaged.

Also i dont think you need a 750 watt, a 650 should be good as the ivy bridge uses less wattage and if you go with the GTX 670 FTW it also is low wattage. So i have both of those and 650 watt is working fine for me and my friend said i can do double sli with it too. So unless you are getting a really watt heavy cpu cooler or triple sli/crossfire i would say you are fine with a 650 Watt

Where do you find all these no name PSUs? What country are you from?

Tip: invest in a good quality PSU, it can make or break your PC.
  12. If you search it in google you will find some information about it, and the reviews says that is a nice PSU, but I will search for a nice Corsair or something like this.
  13. ^no it's no where near a nice psu!
  14. You only need a 650 watt
  15. Ok, but i'm thinking about take a 580, i don't know if tis a nice idea or just a stupid thinking.
  16. What do you think?
  17. stupid thinking if you ask me.
