Upgrade to 8 GB of RAM and maybe a i5 proccessor?
July 21, 2012 9:30:54 PM

8 Gb of ram means 25 Euro more and an i5 lets say 2400 is 60 more so out of budget.

looks good so far . .little difficult to navigate a non english site, sorry . .let me look a little more . .video card and PSU?
1024MB Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 119,84
the total is 464 if you get the PSU for 64.

now you could go with:
these will work for the low wattage the system is now but, may hamper you in future upgrading.
430W Corsair CX Serie V2 39,84
450W XFX Core Edition ATX 45,33
this would be a great replacement for a XFX 550 watt PSU!
550W Super Flower Amazon 80+ Bronze 50,49

should have posted just the last one . . .

Anw video card im thinking in buying later maybe a HD 6870 or Gtx 560 TI

And psu i already decided on the other part of the forum. It will be a XFX 550W Core Pro Edition and the case a nice Cm 690 Advanced Ver.2 Usb 3.0 .

Also i change d the mobo to this one

i think i misunderstood you budget . .so i picked lesser card. the 6870 is better than the 560ti (i think)
the asrock H77 has more features . .btw, if it gets tight with money; i found a superflower PSU that is good quality like the XFX; up in my last post.

Never heard about that PSU . But XFX is just 5 euro more than Superflower so better with XFX.

As for the gpu (since i buy it later) the budget can raise more. But anw have a look at this

http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=675&card2...

i rarely see a superflower PSU they make quite a few PSUs for others.
they perform very similar depending on the game and resolution
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/AMD/HD_7770/26.html
when it comes close like ~5% it is hard to tell the frame rate difference. they edge would go to the 7770 by drawing less power

the 750 is too much; the i3 2120 will never go over 65 watts (mine doesn't hit 40 watts when stress testing) the chipset on the motherboard is 7 watts and each stick of RAM is 8 watts. then add 10 watts for the hard drive when it first spins up and the same for the optical when in use.
65+7+16+20=108 watts when everything is loaded (which never happens at the same time) add a 200 watt graphics card and a 520 watt PSU can easily handle a 308 load.

what is also important and often overlooked is the idle wattage because a PSU efficiency takes a nosedive under 20% load. the system so far would more likely idle ~ 104 watts for the 520 than 150 watts for a 750 watt PSU.

sorry if i over explained.

if you are getting

G.Skill 4GB DDR3-1600 DIMM RipjawsX CL9 Dual Kit
Cooler Master 690 II Advanced Full Black Mid Tower USB 3.0 without PSU Black
S1155 Core i3-2120 BOX 2x3, 30 GHz 3MB L3 2x256KB
520W Antec High Current Gamer ATX2.3

and any graphics card (7770/6850 or above) is good.
