Hello,
Im having a lot of problems connecting to the family router.
I had no problems up until yesterday, when while playing an online game, I started to lag, so I reset my adapter, t didnt fix the lag, but it made it better for about 30secs.
Today when I turned my comp back on, it will not connect to the internet. I can connect to the router, but not the internet. I also can't open the routers settings page (I could previously).
Oddly, I can connect to other routers in the area that are unprotected. Even more oddly is that I can connect 4 laptops, phones, ipods etc, and a different desktop to the router no problem.
So im stuck, is it my adapter? or the router?
I have a big custom built gaming rig with win 7 64 bit ultimate, an asrock 770extreme MOBO and a tenda wireless N adapter w322 v2.0 i think.
I have tried flushing in cmd, but it did nothing/
I've tried reverting to the microsoft drivers for the adapter, and also using new ralink drivers from a tenda website instead of the ones from its disk. No dice.
the other computers using the router are not win7, so that could be a major factor.
Any help is greatly appreciated :)
Thanks, Adam
