Hello everyone does this seem right. I want to run a gtx 680 sli setup. My current set up is bellow
I7 3770k @ stock
Asus p8z77-v
Corsair vengence 16gb 1600
Vertex 4 120gb ssd
Seagate barracuda 1tb hdd
Lg blue ray writer
Msi gtx 680 twin frozr 3
5x case fans
Haf 922 case
Seasonic x760w gold psu
My question is I want to add a second gtx 680 in sli and the recomendation is min 750 watts. I have a kill a watt meter and I measured consumption from the wall using future mark and was like 260 at wall. Does this seem right being that low??? I figured consumption would be higher at the wall. I'm thinking a second video card will easily run because I have a spare 500 watts to feed it. Any thoughts friends ?

Hi - Yes you have enough "PSU" to run the SLI setup.
As far as what your meter measured from the wall, just remember
that the PSU will only pull from the wall the actual power needed
for the load(your PC components) being placed on it at the time.

If a lot of things are on idle, it will be lower & vice versa.

Agree with prototype - You have plenty of watts/amps,
and your unit like most Seasonic's is probaly very conservatively
rated, ie it will most likely deliver quite a bit more than760w if it
needs to.
