If you're going to get a 3570k to OC then get a z77 mobo. If you don't want to OC, then save the money and get a 3550. I think they've also begun offering the 3570 (no k) now. If not OCing then use the money you save to get a better GPU like 6870 or if possible a 560 ti.

Consider the G-skill Ripjaws X. Same price and RAM specs, newer look.

and your link says the ram is 240 bucks, even if thats wrong i dont care about looks, its not like im using my computer to look at the ram
also is a 6870 really that much better then a 550ti? i know a 560ti has a bit more umph but im not looking to play hardcore games in ultra/high settings

edit:
found a 6870 for only 180 comes with a free 50$ game

We must be looking at different RAM.
Gskill Ripjaws X 8 GB 1600 mHz $46
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

If you're ordering today, Newegg's 1 pm shell shocker of Gskill Ares RAM may be worth it. It will have a lower latency timing, so if it's $46 or lower, you should consider it.

The mobo is a good choice.

The 6870 is equivalent to a GTX560. Either is fine for gaming. If your restricted by budget, then I suggest going with a 7770.

These deals may help with shopping:
Gigabyte GTX560 OC'ed $140 after MIR

Gigabyte 7770 $90 after MIR

Sapphire 6850 $120 after MIR (not as good as 6870 but better than 550Ti)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?nm_mc=AFC-TechBargains&cm_mmc=AFC-TechBargains-_-NA-_-NA-_-NA&Item=N82E16814102908

Tiger Direct is also have a sale on the i5-3570k

Edit: Don't be fooled by the game. It really isn't worth basing your purchase on it. The game is actually a gift because the original creator somehow leaked millions of game key's on the net, so they really lose nothing by giving it away. Also, I'm not sure how much you enjoy car racing games.

im getting the 6870 as its the best bang for your buck, and thanks on the ram info, ima stick withe the ripjaw ram due to several reports of voltage issues with it on SB/IB cpus. Also i just like getting something extra, im just gonna resell it for like 10 bucks :/
