Problems with x-fi titanium hd driver and console

Hello,

today i bought myself the x-fi titanium hd to go with my z-5500 speakers. in the past i've enjoyed creative products greatly, so i was eager to install it and see what it could do.

unfortunately, there are some problems with the driver and the startup console. my pc does recognize a sb x-fi product and the possibility to set speakers to 5.1, but thats pretty much it. the console lacks the options to set dts decoding, thx options, crystalizer options, surround sound options and more.

ive tried the latest drivers from creative website and the ones on the disk (erased previous drivers thoroughly), but to no use.

im using windows 7 64 bit os.

can anybody help me with this issue? what is wrong and how do i fix this and enjoy dts sound during movies?

thanks in advance!
