Small question about SLI possibilities

I am looking at building this system with a few minor differences and I wanted to see if people with more experience could answer a few questions about space issues this system may run into. I am using all the same hardware listed except for switching the gpu for:

and the memory for

My concern is if these parts will fit in this system, I know the gpu should not have any trouble but I want to be able to stick a second one in there to SLI and it seems the article says the motherboard wouldnt work for that. Also the cooling unit looks like it would not leave space for the four sticks of ram, which would be fine I just need to know so I can buy fewer larger sticks. Lastly I was wondering how many hard drives could you fit in this system?

I realize these are most likely newbie questions but any help is greatly appreciated.
