First of all I wanted to say hi to everyone.Hope I'm posting in the right section,as this is my first post on this forum.
As the title says,I am considering an upgrade for my CPU.
My system is :
CPU : AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition, overclocked to 3.6 Ghz
GPU : Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB OC Edition
RAM : 8GB DDR3 Kingston 1600 MHZ Dual-Channel
MOBO : ASUS M5A99X EVO
OS : Windows 7 Ultimate x64 bit
Monitor : Benq 24" Full HD 1920x1080
I want to know if I should upgrade to a AMD FX 8350 x8 processor.I mainly use my computer for gaming, internet browsing, watching movies and sometimes C++ programming.
I feel my 965 BE is quite slow and I want to know if it's worth the upgrade. If there are better AMD processors for gaming than FX 8350 please recommend me one.I can't go to Intel because I would also have to change my motherboard and I am on a tight budget.
Thank you in advance !

Honestly I think the FX-8350 is at the top for AMD processors. Anyways you can try overclocking the 965 even more since it should hit 4ghz without too much trouble.

Nope.

Your video card might be holding you back dependent upon your games and settings.
