Can i put a gt 640 in my computer?

i have an AMD Athlon 64 II x2 4000+ at 2.1 ghz

im building a new computer but was wondering if i could use this card till i finish. right now the graphics i have is a gt 220. can anyone help?

It depends on your power supply, but there is nothing stopping you from chucking in a new card. What do you plan to do with your PC?
