This is my first build and I'm not quite sure if it will work for all the things I need it to. I don't want it anymore than 850$ I will be using this build for PC gaming and game recording(like fraps) I already have an OS so I don't need one for this build. I basically want to be able to run skyrim on high with no lag while recording. So here it is. (I'm on my iPhone right now and I'm not exactly sure how to link everything so when I get on a computer I will link everything)

CPU- Intel i5-2500k processer- 170$

GPU- Amd Radeon HD7850- 250$

PSU- Corsair Enthusiast TX650 90$

ROM- Sony Spinpoint 1TB- 90$

RAM- G.Skill 8GB ram- 46$

Case- CoolerMaster HAF 912- 60$

Opitivcal Drive- LG Dvd+RW burner 18$

MotherBoard- Biostar TZ77A ATX Intel- 100$

Get the i5-3570k

Get the Asus HD7850 DCU II for US249 (amazon). remember, choose at least Direct CU II..

and PLS CHANGE MOBO to Asrock, Asus or MSI!

please use mobo Z77 platform.. recommend is Asus P8Z77-V LX $114.99 @ Microcenter

p/s i'm playing skyrim right now.. eerything okay and i use asus p8z77-v..

please buy heat sink as well.. get a coolermaster 212 Evo..

Absolutely no point in paying more for the 3570K, especially for gaming.

Good choice of Power supply

Better motherboard for overclocking on

Absolutely, and completely pointless. I cannot emphasize this enough, particularly to the 2 posters who advised it. The 3570K costs more and doesn't even give you a 1% advantage in gaming performance

He doesnt really need DirectCU. It just has a good cooler :p
He also doesnt need a heatsink if not OCing :)
