Eyefinity. Displayport to minidisplayport, with active adapter

Got a quick question about the eyefinity.

I've got a sapphire active displayport to Dvi adapter, but my card only accepts Minidisplayport. But i have a little adapter that changes the displayport to Minidisplayport. Would that somehow mess it up, if i connect the active adapter do the another adapter?
