Best mobo and processor ?

hi ,
I'm planning to build a new PC . Thought to go with AMD processors .
Specs:
FX 4170
ASUS M5A97
ATI HD 6670

Are these best for my total budget of 25k rupees ?
heard that Phenom X4 performs better than FX 4100 but it has AM3 Socket.Which one to choose

I occasionally play games like COD MW3, but do most of internet browsing and running electronic simulation softwares.

Suggest me a RAM(1600MHz) , HDD , PSU and a good 19 inch monitor totally within 25k. Thank you .

id get a intel for almost all builds but you are getting AMD so id suggest getting a phenom II x4 965 BE

motherboard is fine

id get a gtx560 or a hd7770 video card instead. 6670 is kinda weak. depends what you want

id get 8gb of 1333mhz memory (2x4gb kit). id suggest going with kingston or any cheap ram. you wont see much differences with 1600mhz memory.

for the hard drive, id get a western digital caviar blue 500gb

im not too sure what power supplies are offered in india. go with antec, seasonic, xfx, or corsair

If i go with phenom II x4 965 BE its AM3 Socket for which future update is not possible . Better to get AM3+ socket . Isn't it ?

if i get ASUS M5A97 is it backward compatible for AM3 ??

Intel processors are costly . As per benchmarks Core i3 2125 costs around 9000 rupees performs same as 6k of FX 4100.

Best CPU i recommend would be a 2500K with a Z68 motherboard (gigabyte or ASUS) and overclock it to 4.5ghz

ALL HAVE TO USE AFTERMARKET FANS i recommend a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO since they come really cheap

yeah sorry its Phenom ll X4 . 2500k is high priced and runs out of budget.
How about Phenom ll 970 with ASUS M5A97 ?

Some say FX series processors are not good . So considering Phenom ll 970.

am3 chips work fine in a am3+ board from what i know.

the phenom ii x4 970 is a good choice as long as it isnt too much more than a 965.

Saw that x4 970 has TDP 125W and uses 45 nm Mfg. Process and cooler fan is noisy.

X4 960T is a good option ?has 95W TDP and it costs 1k rupees less.

If not overclocked , extra cooling fan is a must ?

PSU :Corsair Builder Series™ CX430 V2 or a VIP GOLD 500W .

i prefer a decent one with less pricing.

no dont get the t. just pick up a regular 965 or a 970 since it is the only ones that overclock well. ( im pretty sure)

If you are that sure , then i'll go with 965 . And with Corsair CX500 V2 . Please tell me extra cooler fan needed ?

the stock one is good enough for regular non-overclocking use. if you are to overclock, which you should, you should get a cooler master hyper 212 plus CPU cooler. if you dont have the hyper 212 plus, you should have the hyper 212 evo which is about the same thing but a tad better
