It should run without a hitch for that setup as your processor is the only major power drawing component. However, would not hurt to let us know your power supply mode as prototype18 has said, you may have a bad power supply that may not put out 250 watts. Such can be some cheap chinese brand power supply or one of those lemon units.

Hey,
I used to have that crappy IBall PSU. The menace died and even took away my Motherboard alongwith it.

Better get a good PSU. I replaced it with Corsair CX430 V2 for 2.5k INR. To save some bucks you could also get the Corsair VS450 albeit with lesser efficiency.

I'd recommend the Antec VP-450, though the CX-430 is around the same price, I believe the VP-450 is slightly better in terms of quality. Let us know a website that ships to your place and we can all look for suitable power supply given YOU want to replace it. I would agree with mihir94 that brand is not the best.

Well not so hard to know that its better than that. But PSU dsnt affect the performance of the PC .Its just the quality that delivers the best power to the components. So you wont notice a diferrence within 2 different good PSU.

Just that PSU that you choosed its not a good one. It dsnt deliver that W and you cant upgr your system w/o replacing it !
