I have PSU fortron saga II 500W
http://www.mygarage.ro/attachments/teste-si-review-uri/109670d1283271339-mini-review-fortron-saga-ii-500-s7300427.jpg
and want to ask whether it can be enough for

EVGA GeForce GTX 660 3GB SC Signature 2
http://eu.evga.com/products/moreinfo.asp?pn=03G-P4-2665-KR&pwindow=specs&family=&sw=

I know that 500W should be enough, but requirements also state:
Minimum of a 450 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 24 Amps.)

picture shows
+12V1 +12V2
18A 18A

so can this PSU support this card, or do I need one where there is 24A under +12Volt rail?

thank you

wait, if TDP of card is 140W and its on 12Volt rail, does it mean that 24A is needed for entire system and the 18 is enough as its more that 140W/12V?

thank you

FSP is fortron and its 80 PLUS Bronze Certified - it´s efficiency >82% (http://www.partis.cz/index.php?gid=1535)
also my current setup with c2d e7500 @stock draws from wall cca 140W under full load in games
(cpu itself has 77Watt TDP, 5750 has TDP of 86W and 660 SC S2 has TDP 140W)

FSP is not a shoddy brand. Its AURUM and RAIDER series are better than most Corsair PSUs.

The FSP unit can output 408w on the 12v rail which translates to 34 amps. 34 amps is more than capable enough for a single GTX 660 and a Q9550 along with some overclocking. It's a decent psu and you'll be fine with it.
