and a cheapish CD drive for my computer
Currently I have a
radeon 6850 video card
Phenom II 960T CPU(Unlocked and overclocked 6 core 3.495ghz)
Corsair TX650W PSU
Asus M5A97 Motherboard
60GB ssd
640GB hdd
Coolmaster hyper 212 plus Cooler
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 ram 1600 mhz

What upgrade should i make I ahve an 80$$ money limit on a single item for 80$$ or multiable items for 80$ all together

Please try to keep the color landscape of all suggestions Black, or has blue LED

Hi :)

Nope , the rest is fine... fairly well matched apart from g.card and a ram improvement...

All the best Brett :)

ATM my grahics card runs everything I throw at it magnificently with 45+ FPS in COD:MW3 60+, Black Ops 1 60+, Wow max settings 60+, black ops 2 high settings 60+ all at 1650 x 1050 (Take note this is with clocks at 925/1150(stock=775/1000) with no voltage changes)

If I where to get an Upgrade for my video card what would you suggest??(Not Nvidia please always damages my computer some reason)

Increase your ram to 8gb if its 64 bit Windows -- I was thinking about that although I want to keep my computer running 2 ram sticks instead of 4x ram sticks

If you are gaming at above 1600x900 or 1680x1050, you may want to save up for faster graphics card. Although the HD 6850 will game fine at 1920x1080 with some reduced settings on modern games.

You could spend your extra cash on another 4GB of matched memory sticks. Try to match them to what you have now if possible. That would give you a bit more headroom on some games and most PC apps.

Hi :)

A 7990 is a little too expensive for your budget...save for a 7970...

But for that budget... more ram would make a decent difference..

All the best Brett :)
