Hello,
I bought a asus geforce 470GTX a few years ago and my computer that I had has since broke, I recently ordered an HP Pavillion P6-2100 and I need a power supply. The question I have is what Power supply should i get (the card recommends a 650 Watt) and how the hell do I hook it all up without breaking anything. I know almost nothing about the processes of a motherboard and what does what, I do know my way around one however. I also need to know exactly which one to buy, with all the necessary ports to hook up all the stuff in an HP pavillion p6-2100.

Thank you in advance-Damon

That looks like the same case as my grandsons Compaq so a standard size power supply will fit fine.

Try an antec 620, seasonic 620, corsair 650, rosewill capstone 650, ocz 650, xfx650...

do you have a friend that knows what they're doing?

I do not have any friends that can help me with this but a step by step guide would help a whole lot and is it just a matter of replugging everything back into the motherboard or will some components end up not working?
