So I am currently using a lenovo w510 which does well on most games where I can play games on either medium or high detail, with a few on ultra. I do have trouble playing some games with decent FPS or at all. The witcher 2 and Just Cause 2 are just a few that I can only play with 20 FPS with all the settings turned down to low and resolution turned down as well. After some thought, I decided to go ahead and build my own gaming pc. I have been doing some research for awhile now and I think I came up with a good build but some parts may be a bit overkill. I am also unsure of what ram to get and I think the case I have chosen has enough fans but I am unsure. I also chose a 5.1 soundcard because of the turtlebeach Earforce Z6A headset.

Skip the sound card. Why are you getting a P55 board? there are comparable Z68 and Z77 motherboards that would much better suit this build. Look at one of the Asrock boards like this one:

That hard drive is for enterprise use. Take a look at the Samsung 1TB F3, or the 2TB Samsung. Or some of the 1TB drivess from Seagate.

You won't need 750W unless you are buying a second video card.

Thank you so much for the quick feedback. What would be the best power supply option if I stuck with just one video card?

Also would it matter if I purchased for Newegg or Amazon? I am thinking of using amazon since I have Amazon Prime and I get free shipping as well as some deals.
