I have this problem where the game freezes for a few seconds then it will recover i know its the graphics driver recovering
the amdkmdap crap from ati I am running 2 Ati sapphire diamind hd4870 in crossfire but heres the kicker this display driver recovery crap only happens on certian games i can play valve games with no problems i can play battlefield 3 on highest sesttings all day with no issues, but when i try mass effect 3 or skyrim or space marine the driver fails after a few seconds to a few minutes of play.
And before anyone ask a retorical question My cards and entire system is running stock settings No overclocking and running the latest windows 7 ult x64 bit updates and the latest catylist 12.4 at drivers.

Really? excuse my french but ya re do all the work on my pc for some ******* bullshit drivers hell no, that doesnt explain why drivers dont fail on battlefield 3 or source engine games but will screw up masseffect 3 and spacemarine and as for common i doubt it i can play the masseffect 3 and skyrim on my second gamming computer which is an nvida rig it has no problems running any game so obviously this is an ati issue if my nvida based system has no problems

All that work? I re-load windows every few months just for the heck of it.

There are numerous forums dedicated to the recovery issue, both ATI and Nvidia. NVLDDMKM is the Nvidia display driver has recovered error.

It's thought to be a Windows issue.

Grow up. Stay in school.

By the way you've been reported for language.
