Hello, I'm a new PC builder, and I'm going to be using this rig for school work and gaming, but mostly gaming.

Here's my setup so far, and I was wondering what you guys think of it.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 570

MoBo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel

PSU: COOLER MASTER Silent Pro 600W

Case: NZXT Phantom

RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

SSD: Crucial M4 2.5" 64GB SATA

HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint 1TB 3.0Gb/s 3.5"

CPU Fan: COOLER MASTER 120mm CPU Cooler

DVD Burner: ASUS 24X

And that's it. I have a pretty crappy monitor at the moment, but I'll replace it once I set this up. Basically, does this setup work? Is there anything about it I should know about? Also, in one of the comments for the case, someone posted that two of the built in fans came with a 3 pin male molex connector instead of a 4 pin, will this affect me?

Thanks for taking your time to read this post, and I hope to hear back from you guys soon.

Why do you suggest switching to the ivybridge and that board? I don't know that much about computers yet and I'd like to know.
