Ive got 2x radeon 6950 (2gb) running in crossfire mode...what is a reasonable temperature to operate while gaming? right now im using a case thats too small to house everything (first build newbie mistake) so ive got the case open and a house fan blowing on everything...with the house fan and 75-80degree Farenheit ambient temp...my pcie1 slot reached low 60 degrees centigrade...how does that rate?

You mean the GPU reached 60c? That's a pretty good temp. I run my 6950's fans at 50% and it peaks at around 71c under full load, and it's overclocked to hell and back. It's the MSI Twin Frozr III edition, though, so it's got an awesome custom cooler on it and runs a lot cooler than most 6950s.

i dunno what edition i have...the price looked good and i knew they were crossfire compatible which i figured would entend the life of them if each only had to do half the work (hopefully thats how it works lol)...but i bought 2 of these

so as long as i can keep it from going above 70 centigrade ill be good? i got nervous when my motherboard (asus sabertooth 990fx) gave me a warning about 60degree centigrade heat on pcie1
