This is $1508 in total, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips to improve this set up.

I'm looking for a system that runs good with games without being a gaming rig so it can still run well with video editing and graphic design.

  1. Downgrade to an i5 3570K, which would still do decent unless you edit for work. Id upgrade that SSD to 64GB as 30GB never suits my needs. 8-16GBs of RAM will do good, depending on how many programs youll have open at the same time. Upgrade GPU to 7970. And I say get a 600W PSU, for the future :)
  2. Since your using a 77 series motherboard i would recommend going with an ivy bridge processor

    i7-3770

    i7-3770K

And using a z77 motherboard to give you more controle over your processor and and the possibility of using a second graphics card in sli/crossfire

    MSI Z77MA-G45

    Other than that looks good
