Can I crossfire a Radeon 7870 with a 7770?

If so what would happen, would the bigger card be bottlenecked because of the smaller or what?

no you cannot. you can only crossfire cards within the same set. for example the 78** set has the 7870 and the 7850.

if you were to just do it... I would imagine your mobo would only run the card your display cables are plugged into. remember, you have to enable crossfire on CCC too. and it won't let you do it with a 7870 and a 7770
