HDMI/D-Sub output, want 120hz
May 31, 2012, 4:42 AM
My laptop has a HDMI and D-Sub output. My monitor has a DP/HDMI/DVI-D/D-Sub input.
When I do HDMI, monitor seems to only do 60hz. I want 120hz.
Is it possible? I'm guessing HDMI to a DP adapter won't do ***, right?
I'm open to any suggested solution (OTHER than the obvious "buy a real PC", I will do that later.) All I care is that I get 120hz on my awesome new monitor.

HDMI's max refresh rate is 60Hz and D-Sub is 75Hz so I believe you could only get 75Hz (Via D-sub).
