Hello,I put in a new cpu and my computer won,t boot up. also i upgrade to windows xp just before i change the cpu

Does your bios see the cpu? If your case has a internal speaker then you should be getting some beeps from the post test.
Are you sure you have everything plugged in? Is your cpu cooler installed correctly and did you replace the thermal paste?
