where do i get sound drivers for compaq d550 running on windows 7?

As this came out before windows 7, compaq/hp never released win 7 drivers for this model. What you have to do is generate a system inventory using a tool such as speccy, and see which oem made your models sound hardware. Then you have to go to that OEM's support pages and DL the driver for it.
