Hi,

Not long built a high end desktop PC running windows 7. Mobo is Asus P8Z68-V intel chipset Z68. In cmd my processor architecture is AMD64 but my processor is intel64 (i5) should I have gone for a AMD processor. Is this a design fault I should lookout for in future?

More about : processor architecture

AMD64 is just X64 extension for X86. Its named that because it came from AMD
