Crossfire Gpu compatability check

Would the 6550D HD crossfire with the 7770HD?

I don't think so. Unlike the HD5770 and HD6770 where they were basically the same GPU, the 6550D and HD7770 are completely different.

No. & Even if it does, it is pointless because the lower card will just drag down the performance of the higher card. CrossFire does not simply add whatever performance the 2nd card have but evens up the load so when the slower card can do not catch up, the higher card has to wait & there is where the performance will slacken.

No. The best discrete card that the 6550D can crossfire with is the 6670. FM2 is supposed to change that though.
