Need advice on GPU for Skyrim @ 1024x768 res.

Hello, i m looking for graphics card that can play skyrim on high settings with 1024x768 resolution with 2xAA and a litle AF turned on.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: In 3-4 days

BUDGET RANGE: 70-80$ and under

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Skyrim

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Nvidia Geforce 7025/nforce 630a, some uknown 500W psu i bough for 13$ 3 years ago (i hope it will be enough).

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: 2gb DDR2 800MHz RAM, Phenom 9500 Quad OC'ed to 2.7 GHz CPU, MSI k9n6pgm2-v2 AM2+

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: None

PARTS PREFERENCES: Just a good price-performance ratio

OVERCLOCKING: Yes

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: no

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1024x768

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: The cards i m currently considering is Powercolor 6670 ddr3 GPU or the MSI hd 6570 ddr3 Twin Frozr II, is there significant performance difference between those?

My mobo only supports ddr2 ram, so is ddr3 ram compatable with it? If i buy 2x2gb DDR3 RAM will it work in ddr2 mode on my mobo or it won't work at all??

Don't bother buying DDR3 it won't work but you should really get at least 4GB RAM.
I think the 6670 is faster than the 6570 however neither of those will give you ultra settings on skyrim. Maybe a 6750 or a 6770 would

An HD 7750 would be more than enough for that resolution and is very thrifty on power usage (more so than an HD 6670).
