Edit: Think this should go in the prebuilt section - doh!

Hello,

I'm looking for a supercheap system to run Guild Wars 2 on and I'm considering a refurbished unit from TigerDirect. Mainly because my cost is cheaper to go refurb than purchase parts from Newegg and build myself. I'm really going for low cost here.

Two options:
Lenovo H420 w Intel G620 2.6GHz, 6GB DDR3, its got slow 1TB HDD and Win 7 64 bit $340
HP CD7900 w Intel E8500 3.16GHz, 4GB DDR2, also slow 500GB HDD and Win 7 64 bit $300

I was then going to purchase a video card, power supply (and RAM for the HP)

Video Card
Radeon HD 6750 1GB $100

Power Supply
Rosewill RD500 500W $45

RAM (for HP)
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) $44

This puts me under $500 and I do need the keyboard, mouse and OS that comes with the comp.

So my questions are:
Which rig is the preferred?
Will I be able to play GW2 on medium'ish settings on this rig? If not, show me the error of my ways.
Does anyone have positive or negative feedback on buying refurb from TigetDirect?
Also, would a 128GB SSD help my performance if I'm just gaming - would it be worth the extra $120?

Thanks!

I'd say the first one. As far as buying refurbished goes, my experience is you get what you pay for. You may end up with a fairly brand new system that has no problems and you may end up replacing everything in it by the time it's all said and done.
