Hi everyone, this is a confusing one for me. I have a custom built computer with dual gigabit ethernet (Asus Rampage 2 Extreme). I have only one network cable hooked to the back of the computer. that is hooked to a wired/wireless router where you can hook 4 total network cables up. I have my computer, the wife has hers, and her Playstation 3 and my Playstation 3.

Now when i power down my computer, everything else loses internet. We even rebooted the modem and router after my computer has been shut down. I even moved around my network cable on the router, to see if the numbers 1-4 meant anything, which i didn't think so.

The only reason it bothers me is because the computer is in my bedroom and it kicks out some heat when its on and all the lights inside, not to mention, the thermostat to the central air is in the bedroom and it screws it up!

Please help!! Thank you for your time!
