HD Viewing Pleasure?

Hi Everyone,
I have a GTX570 2.5GB HD GPU and a ASUS 23" HD LED monitor. Both have a HDMI port. I tried just hooking the HDMI cable up but had no picture. What exactly do I need to do to be able to use this connection to play game, watch movies, etc?

Hello,

Most LCD's have a "switch input" on the LCD screen itself - have you tried using that while your computer is on and making sure it's on "HDMI" input?

Another thing too - it might be your computer is trying to use your onboard video if you have one - you might have to change it in your BIOS to use your GPU instead of your onboard GPU.

The monitor should have multiple inputs and should scan for a signal, but check your monitors documents for a manual select and see if that helps.
