Approximate Purchase Date: October or November. It's a couple months from now so I understand prices will change but I want to get an idea of what to look for and how much I'll be spending ahead of time.
Budget Range: $2000 there is good wiggle room
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, video editing, photo editing
Are you buying a monitor: No
Parts to Upgrade: Everything
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg is my number one
Location: Washington State, USA
Parts Preferences: Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU
Overclocking: Overclocking the CPU
SLI or Crossfire: If I buy a 670 I'll SLI in the future.
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 eyefinity right now but I'll be looking for a single 2560x1440 eventually. Just not as big a fan of 3 monitors as I thought I'd be.
Additional Comments: Should I spend the extra money now and go with a GTX 690 or go with a 670 SLI a couple months down the road? I'd prefer a single card. I'll be doing a lot of editing with both fraps and footage captured with my dslr as well.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Just got the job I've been chasing for a few years so I want to reward myself after I get situated.
The only thing I've really selected is the case.
