[NVidia] Games speed up after an hour of play

Nvida GeForce 8800 GTS 320mb

Games start speeding up, almost as if its in fast forward or speed hacks for those familiar with that sort of thing. Restarting my computer fixes this temporarily, but it just comes back. Games requiring internet connection start rubber banding me hard.

Not sure how to fix. My card is not the best, but it certainly meets the requirements of every game I play. Most notably, Diablo 3 of recent.
