MSI R7950 80 degrees celsius under load?

Okay I'm running an MSI r7950 with the voltage bumped to 1.149 and running at 1100/1575. In crysis 2 at times I top out between 80-81 celsius, during bf3 it's in the 70's. Since this is a high end card are these safe temps?

Yes it is, but you should have picked a non reference designed card, you'd have seen 15-20C cooler than this. But it sounds very normal since you have a reference designed card. Also I would avoid it getting above 85C, some reported that performance gets a little throttled so just make profiles for your overclocks.
  2. Crank up the fan a bit and it wont concern ya again. Had my 7970s at over 85c til I cranked up the fans.
